Wonders are great feats of architecture and engineering, the construction of which can take the attention of entire kingdoms.

To work on building a wonder, you must assemble a work crew and pay various incidental expenses. It costs 5 chests of gold to keep up construction, and you can coordinate a work force consisting of a number of manpower units equal to your skill adds in Knowledge: Architecture and Engineering. You can use a smaller work force, but the project will take longer to complete.

Each season you do this, you may make a Knowledge: Architecture and Engineering roll against the DC of the project. Failure means that season's work is wasted. Success contributes a number of build points equal to the size of the work force. When build points equal to the cost of the project have been accumulated, the wonder is finished.

Having a Behemoth at your service gives a +5 circumstance bonus on Knowledge: Architecture and Engineering.

There can only be one architect working on a particular project. Several architects can assist, but each such assisting architect costs 5 chests of gold per season.

One archtect can work at up to four projects simultaneously, paying separately for each. The projects must be located reasonably close to one another. Working at more than one project prevents the archtect from holding some other position simultaneously.
