These rules have now been removed.

By paying double the normal motes and Willpower for a Charm that inflict negative dice, all remaining dice in that action may be Sundered. The dice-reducing Charm must be used for maximum effect at the time, and all bonus dice affecting an action must be Sundered for the Sunder to take effect. Sundered dice reduce the Success total by 1 for each 1 rolled. That is, a Sundered die removes a success on a result of 1.

An Abyssal may Sunder any dice, by paying double the normal cost of a dice-removing Charm. As long as the all the dice kept are Sundered, all dice in action remove 1 success on a 1.

  • You must remove the maximum amount of dice you can remove, to be able to Sunder the remaining dice.
  • Bonuses from non-Charm sources are Sundered when the rest of the dice are.
  • You may only Sunder with Charms, not with Spells or other magic traits.
  • When using Abyssal Sundering, the Exalt's anima banner temporarily flares up to its totemic state. Next turn, the anima banner returns to its normal state.
